About the Artist

Born in Washington and growing up in Oregon, Anna-Marie Abell had no problem falling in love with nature. Each time she went on a hike, she found a little piece of beauty she wanted to remember. That is why she decided photography was the best way to capture nature and share it with others.

Anna-Marie has been shooting images of nature for 15 years. With a collection of almost 9,000 images, she has been able to capture the best Mother Nature has to offer.

Every artwork item you see on this site has been "painted" using a digital canvas by the artist. Countless hours have been spent getting each photograph just right to emulate a real painting, but yet still capture the realism of the moment. Because all the artwork is based from actual photos, there is a sense of reality to each piece. They capture your imagination and take you to another place. A "vacation for the mind" as she likes to call it.
